Dear compatriots,

I have the honor to address you today on the occasion of the last day of 2010 - a special year in the history of the Moldovan state and our society.

We've all experienced days of unrest, discussion and emotion. Birthday reflections on our future and the country. Days of turmoil because of stubbornness in the field of politics, which led to the split of the company's risks and repeated electoral ballots. Days of concerns on the grounds of political instability which could result in a deepening economic crisis in the country.

take this opportunity and thank you for your patience and wisdom civic attitude that you have shown, through which they managed to overcome these risks. Also, congratulations to all Moldovan political class that did however, show maturity and commitment to democratic values, to the interests of society and the State Parliament of the Republic Moldova.Recentele events have brought the country to end political unrest by creating social alliance government. I ask the parliamentary opposition not to get overwhelmed by frustration and to become actively involved in managing ţării.Sunt affairs confident that early next year, we are able to successfully pass the last step in building state institutions in order to start solving the problems of citizens and the country. First we need to improve the health care system and education, the conditions for economic activity and the collection of resources to increase salaries, pensions and scholarships, to improve living conditions in villages and many others.
